Job Title: UW Services Medical History Interviewer 1

Hours:

The position is a 30 hour a week part-time role. It is mandatory to work in the afternoon until 6pm.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting the underwriting department by interviewing LTC applicants, verifying and obtaining additional information to provide Underwriters with a clear picture of medical and lifestyle history.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts medical history interviews, following departmental procedures outlined in the Interviewer Procedure Manual, and the Training TIR, implementing any changes as directed by management.
  2. Make initial call attempt on assigned files within the 24 hour established timeframe and document console.  Maintains files daily with follow-up attempts and updates comments on console as established, requesting assistance if needed.
  3. Meets or exceeds Quality Service expectations.  Obtains information and documents all questions with proper, accurate and thorough details with minimal post-interview clarification.
  4. Meets or exceeds YTD production average of 45 (or an appropriate number established by management) completed TIRs per week, while maintaining satisfactory quality and TAT ratings.
  5. Meets or exceeds departmental turn-around-time (TAT) expectations.

Prerequisites for the Job:

All candidates must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon offer given, or become vaccinated after offer is given.
